The Circle is a private leadership community serving C-level Finance, HR, and Revenue executives at growth stage private and newly public companies (<5 years since IPO) with $20M+ in annual revenue. For more information, explore membership and view full member criteria.

Anyone who fits the criteria for admission is eligible to apply to join The Circle community.

As a paying member, you will have access to:

  • Members-only Platform including community directory, content library (with 200+ Takeaways recaps, benchmarking data, resources, templates, and more), and calendar of gatherings
  • Community email alias with searchable archive
  • Proprietary benchmarking surveys + insights
  • Monthly interactive large group “anti-webinars”
  • Curated small group Cohort matchmaking + discussion
  • Individual 1:1 introductions + conversations
  • Regional happy hours and member meetups
  • Access to additional in-person experiences like Retreats and Classes – some of which will carry an additional registration fee and/or may have limited capacity

Submit an application to join. After reviewing your application, our team will reach out from thecircle@fcc.vc with either an approval and onboarding instructions, or a denial with explanation as to why you don’t meet the criteria. If you don’t meet the criteria, we encourage you to re-apply as soon as you’re back in a role and company that qualifies for membership.

Membership to The Circle is $750 per person, per year, charged on an annual basis. Membership is for the individual (not the company) and is non-transferrable.

Membership is limited to one community per person. If you serve in a dual CXO role, you will only have access to one community, either specific to your title or that of your choosing if you have both titles. We recognize the importance of cross-functional insights and frequently bring our communities together for relevant topics.

For CXOs who are currently in fractional or consulting roles, you are eligible if you are currently advising / working with companies that meet our membership criteria OR if you have served in a C-Suite level role for 5+ years. As part of our community values and norms, all members agree to not solicit the community for business development or other personal gain.

We value the insights and experience of professionals who are in transition or may no longer be in operating roles. The criteria for membership of “Independent” or retired members is to have 5+ years of experience as CXO at a growth-stage company that fits our company criteria.

If you leave your job, your membership can continue until the point of annual renewal. At that time, you will need to validate your eligibility to be able to renew your membership.

We love referrals! You can direct any eligible CXO peer who fits the criteria to apply to join and mention your name in their application. If you’re a current member and would like to share specific context about a referral with our team for consideration, you’re welcome to email us, but please do not CC the applicant or otherwise make a direct email introduction. This avoids any disappointment if the person doesn’t end up fitting the criteria.

After logging into the Circle|Platform, click “My Profile” and select “Update Member Profile” to edit details about you, your role, and your experience or “Update Company Profile” to edit details about your company, or “Update Account Info” to adjust your billing and subscription information.

After logging into the Circle|Platform, click “Email Archive” for link and instructions for searching past conversations in your community.

No, recordings are not shared, but written Takeaways recaps and resources are provided after every program (unless it’s expressly stated as “off the record”).

Unless expressly stated, all Programming is for Circle members only. Occasionally, we will invite you to include relevant +1s in a given conversation. If you have specific questions, reach out to support at thecircle@fcc.vc.

We love topic suggestions! After logging into the Circle|Platform, go to “Calendar” then click “Submit a Topic,” and provide the requested information.

Peer-contributed templates and examples embody the “give to get” ethos, helping members save time and effort by building upon shared resources. After logging into the Circle|Platform, go to “Resources.” Then, click “Submit a Resource,” and provide the requested information for our team to review.

If you choose to leave the community and cancel your subscription, your membership will remain active until your renewal date. After that, you can always re-apply to join.
